I love being a part of Wild Rivers Photography Club because it challenges us to constantly shoot something new with the monthly assignments.
My image titled “All Food Green” is for our “Food for Thought” assignment. I chose to create a vibrant monochromatic still life of fresh green fruits and vegetables. Items were carefully placed in a graphic composition highlighting the variety of natural textures and shapes found in the whole foods and the cutting of some. The deep green background was chosen to match the fruits and vegetables and added in Photoshop. It was photographed using natural light coming through my front room window with a Nikon Z6 using a 24–70mm lens at ISO 1000, f/22, 1/80s to maintain crisp detail and depth throughout the arrangement.
