Congratulations to Larry Pollock for this winning print.

The photo is of Galice Creek. This image was taken on October 21, 2025. It used a technique called Focus Stacking. I took three images using a tripod to keep the camera in the same composition. The first image was focused on the front rocks, the second on the middle area, and the last on the farthest trees.

These images are then combined to create a single image with focus from front to back.

Camera information: Fuji X-T5, 40mp. Lens: XF16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR. Settings: 4 seconds, f/22, ISO 160, 16mm. I used a 3-stop Neutral Density filter to allow a long exposure during the day.
