Congratulations to Larry Pollock for his winning image: Eagle and Stick
Larry Writes About His Image:
This image was taken last month near Klamath Falls. Susan and I visit the wildlife refuges each spring for the migration and nesting. We found a pair of Bald Eagles starting a nest in an old cottonwood tree and actively building. While it is our goal to capture fun and interesting images, our trips are also about the experience of being outdoors and seeing the fantastic wildlife we have in the Northwest. Sometimes, you must get out from behind the camera and take it all in.
Fuji X-T5 with a 225-900 mm lens. Settings: ISO 1600, 1/2500 sec, f/9, 900mm.
The camera club helps keep me on my toes with new and interesting image assignments.
