Digital Capture
Photograph by Larry Pollock
Larry writes about his image:
Digital Capture. A composite image for the Altered Reality section of the May Competition. Two images edited together to create the illusion of the camera sucking the landscape image into the camera and showing up on the back screen. The Altered Reality section of the competition allows for creating something you can’t see in reality. I had a vision of creating a fun expression of what a camera does as well as showing motion. Shot on a Fuji X-T4. Edited in Photoshop.
I have been a professional photographer since 2010. Growing up with film cameras in the 1960s, I learned a wide variety of skills from landscapes, night skies, products, model shoots, portraits and more.
I currently teach photography and lighting. My personal projects include black and white photos and a series highlighting the trash and garbage issues on the planet. I’m always fascinated with the modern techniques to create photographic art and joined the Caveman Camera Club in early 2018.
Congratulations, Larry, on your beautiful image! Look for Larry’s image soon in the Daily Courier.
