How wonderful! Matt Connell will be joining us for our upcoming Ed. night. Below you will find what he has in mind for our evening of sharing and learning. Matt runs the photography end of things at Fire Mountain Gems and is a freelance photographer in his spare time. We are so lucky to have him share his expertise with us once again.
The teaching session will cover a few post production basics in Lightroom and Photoshop. I will be focusing on fundamentals, with an emphasis on identifying problem areas in an image and making a plan for improving them. I will teach some habits of good “Photoshop hygiene” such as using layer masks and organizing your in such a way that you don’t paint yourself into a corner! If time allows, I will introduce the curves tool and show how powerful that tool can be once you understand it. The time should be most useful for beginner to intermediate Photoshop and Lightroom users, but I believe there will be something for everyone.
