Goodness! It’s just a week away. Get those party clothes ready to go. We’ll collect the dinner money at the door so don’t forget your wallets too. Looks like the print exchange will happen if you are so inclined. If you bring a wrapped print you get to choose a wrapped print from someone else to take home. Who knows you may get that wonderful feet shot you can’t stop thinking about since our last competition. Loose prints are fine – maybe sandwich them or wrap with a stiff board of some kind.
LOTS! will be happening at the party so get ready for some fun or just kick back, relax and enjoy the food and friends.

Our Education Coordinator Jim Ingraham has planned an open discussion of prints and digital images for our upcoming meeting. Please see the details below for more information.
The next education meeting on December 5 will be an image sharing evening. No scores, just open discussion. You can share how and why you made the image. If you choose to bring an image or three, be prepared for feedback on how they can possibly be improved. Can be old or new. Everyone is encouraged to share their opinions and feedback but no one is required to. If you had an image that you submitted previously and feel it should have done better, this is a good opportunity to discuss what might have held it back. This will be discussion with back and forth opinions, not necessarily just straight critiques. If you have an image that you feel is perfect and you do not want to hear otherwise, don’t share that one! Can be digital or prints. If digital,send to Russ using normal guidelines except you don’t need to title them. If prints, can be any size, loose or mounted. If you can, try to bring prints as we will also talk a bit about printers and printing. I will bring a print and volunteer to go first. That way, if my feelings get hurt I can slip to the back of the room and sip on a tiny bottle of Tequila while silently judging everyone. (insert smiley face)
The deadline for submitting electronic images for our Nov. 14th Competition Meeting is Sunday the 11th by midnight. Please submit your images to Russ Williamson. If you don’t have his email address please contact a fellow club member.
Sign in your prints when you arrive for the print competition.
