4C’s Quarterly Electronic Image Competitions (QEID)

**Updated March 2022

The Columbia Council of Camera Clubs (4C’s) has a quarterly Electronic Image, (QEID), Competition for individuals.  You must enter the competition yourself. It’s an opportunity to compete against a larger group which includes nearly 30 member clubs. This is different than the Inter Club 4C’s monthly competition, (MEID), which is handled by our club 4C’s representative.

It’s free to enter and a wonderful perk of being a club member if you enjoy competition.

Entries must be submitted via email to  eidquarterly@columbiacameraclubs.org

Note: the portal website address is no longer active

Information about the Quarterly Electronic Imaging Division Competition?

Award ribbons for the QEID Competitions are typically mailed to the respective 4C’s Club Rep for presentation of the award to the winning photographers. The competition relies upon electronic images presented by digital means, e.g., displayed on a computer or digitally projected onto a viewing surface. Images are not limited to those created and/or modified digitally: images may also be acquired on film and then scanned, modified if desired, and entered into competition by judges designated by the 4C’s management team.

Art Along The Rogue

Art Along The Rogue

Art along the Rogue is this Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6th and 7th, on ‘H’ St. between 6th and 4th St. It’s a great photographic opportunity for candids and color and other visually interesting stuff.  Hope some of you consider coming out.

Our second Educational Meeting is Wed. Oct. 3rd. 7pm-9pm.

Let’s learn!

Beginners:

Bring your questions large and small, and your laptops if you like, for a Lightroom and Photoshop round table.  Jim Ingraham will be leading a work station for beginner’s questions. This is a great opportunity to tap Jim’s experience and talent and gather another piece of the photography puzzle. He will use the projector so everyone can easily view the process.

Advanced photographers:

A second station for more advanced photographers will be a place to share back and forth about software, gear, and tips and tricks.  Laptops may also be helpful here so you can try out some new post processing and get some hands on practice.  Everyone is a teacher here so think about those things you’d like to share, questions you want answered, or bring an image you would like help with.

A great opportunity for both beginner and advanced photographers to add another tool to your toolbox.
