Education Meeting is Wed. April 21 – 7pm on Zoom

We are having a virtual scavenger hunt and it starts now! (by virtual I just mean we aren’t getting together for the actual scavenger hunt)
Please submit four photographs from the following categories to Dave Church by midnight on Tuesday, April 20th. Title them simply with your name and category number. See below for category numbers. Example: JimIngraham_1, JimIngraham_3, JimIngraham_5 and JimIngraham_6. Dave will put them in the appropriate folder and we will talk through each folder as it comes up. That will keep everyone involved for the entire meeting. Be loose and creative with the categories. Have fun.
Categories
#1. Put a mask on it.
#2. Something that screams ‘SPRING’ (or whispers it quietly)
#3. Motion blur (or the Pam Arbogast special)
#4. Wings (Animal, insect, angel…must I go on?)
#5. Looking up (a quick jaunt down to Stout Grove should do it)
#6. Reflections
#7. Animal (Insects included!) (you’re welcome, Dale George)
#8. The mighty Rogue River
That’s it.
Oh, and did I mention?…have fun.

Rose’s comments on her image ;  My model and I were actually setting up for a night shoot, but the sun was setting and coming in just right on her face and I snapped this quickly.  This is one of those ‘being in the moment’ shots! 🙂 F5.6, 1/30, ISO 1600  EOS R Canon, 18-135 lens.

Rose’s comments on her image; This was a planned shot, just about didn’t get there fast enough for the blue hour.  We had lighting issues that my team and I worked out. Keeping a model warm is my first priority, so I have to work fast in the cold weather as well as considering her safety. EOS R 19-135 lens F5.6,  20, ISO100 on Bulb 20sec.
